Commonly used water pipes for home improvement can be roughly divided into galvanized pipes, UPVC pipes, aluminum-plastic pipes, PPR pipes, copper pipes and non-embroidered steel pipes.
Galvanized pipes: Most old houses use galvanized pipes. Now gas and heating iron pipes are also galvanized pipes. Galvanized pipes are used as water pipes. After a few years of use, the pipes produce a lot of rust. The yellow water not only pollutes sanitary ware, but also mixes bacteria. The inner wall is not smooth, and the rust causes the heavy metal content in the water to be too high, which seriously endangers human health. In the 1960s and 1970s, the developed world began to develop new pipes and successively banned galvanized pipes. China’s Ministry of Construction and four other ministries have also issued a document explicitly banning the use of galvanized pipes from 2000. At present, galvanized pipes are rarely used for cold water pipes in new communities, and galvanized pipes are used for hot water pipes in some communities.
